Bayside Cabin is situated in a prime position on the sea front at Stokes Bay within easy reach of Gosport. It is not far from the A32 and has many exciting landmarks within the near vicinity, including the Spinnaker Tower and the Royal Navy Submarine Museum.

Facilities for Hire

Upstairs is a popular venue for staging a variety of events including wedding receptions, birthday parties and smaller conferences and meetings. It has a beautiful balcony area which overlooks the solent and the Isle of Wight and is fully equipped with a projector and in-house music system.

Downstairs is the main seating area for daytime and evening diners. It is available for private hire by itself or with the upstairs area.

We can provide room hire rates for the above on request individually or as a package. We are able to provide a range of accesories to support your event, examples include:

  • Additional Staffing
  • Glass & China Crockery
  • Fresh Flowers, Balloons and Table Decorations
  • Champagne Glasses

Please complete our Booking Form (pdf) if you wish to book an event at Bayside Cabin. Please note however, that dates are subject to availability. All dates for events must be confirmed and a deposit received before the booking is validated.

PLEASE NOTE: While we are able to supply soft drinks, we ask that you supply your own alcohol - a small corkage fee may be charged.

In addition there is a fenced garden with seasonal tables and chairs as well as a patio area which has heating for cooler evenings.

There is a large hard standing public car parking area right next to the venue.

Local Attractions

The Stokes Bay seafront boasts a host of attractions including a golf course, pitch & putt course, childrens paddling pool, scenic walks and the fascinating Fort Gilkicker, one of the line of Palmerston Forts built in Victorian times to protect England against the French. There is Stokes Bay Sailing Club and the Gosport & Fareham Inshore Rescue Service (GAFIRS).
